OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2009. The heads of the occupational safety departments of the nuclear power plants operated by Energoatom Concern, representatives of the Concern’s Central Office and the federal agencies and organizations ensuring the safe use of nuclear energy, particularly, Atomenergoremont, VNIIAES, the Association Of Designers, Manufacturers and Suppliers of Personal Protective Equipment, the Federal Medical-Biological Agency, OLS-Komplekt are taking part in the conference.

The key topics of the meeting are supply of nuclear power engineers with individual protection means, quality control and improvement, cooperation with suppliers of personal protective equipment, introduction of centralized tender procedures, efficiency and wider use of electronic tenders.

An exhibition of manufacturers of personal protective equipment took place at Yershovo Aug 26. Alvatex ZTM, STEL, Energocontract and other companies presented their products.
