Brestskoe Pivo Beer Output Reduced 12%
OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 August 2009 was announced, that Belarus-based OAO Brestskoe Pivo brewery’s output of beer decreased 12% year-on-year in January-July 2009 to 1.598 million decaliters, a representative in the company told.
Mineral water output edged up 0.3% to 135,900 decaliters.
The output of soft drinks rose 1.7% to 431,100 decaliters, while grape wine output decreased 14.8% to 46,500 decaliters.
Fruit wine production fell 3.8% to.275,500 decaliters.
Brestskoe Pivo was founded in 1967 and transformed into a joint-stock company with a state stake of 85%. Overall commodity output decreased in the first seven moths of the year 6.4% to 37.4 billion Belarusian rubles (Br).
