OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 August 2009 was announced, that Belarusbank timely repaid its USD  45 mln syndication. The deal was executed in June 2008. MLAs of the deal were reputable German banks Bayern LB and Commerzbank.

"It is actually a very important signal for the market. Your bank behaviour to the large extent determines the investor's strategy towards cooperation with all Belarusian borrowers. I shall point out that Belarusbank behaviour is excellent indeed," - replied a representative of one of the lender-banks.

Thus, blameless accomplishment of its debt liabilities made by the largest Belarusian bank turned out a new signal to foreign partners showing successful performance not only of Belarusbank but financial system of the country as a whole.
