OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2009. The Azerbaijani Education Ministry continues developing education management information system (TIMS – on Azerbaijani abbreviation).

The ministry reports that the system is being updated in accordance with terms of new educational year (transfer of students from form to form, new composition of seniors). The system is designed for higher education establishments and other education ones as well.

Following the results of the last school year, information on 1.4 million pupils  and 200,000 teachers was included into the  database of TIMS.
