OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2009. Within the development programme the group of companies “Sea Port of Saint-Petersburg” completed the design works of universal covered storage facility with the total storage area of 12.7 thousand square meters on the territory of ro-ro terminal of the First Stevedoring Company.

The group of companies transferred 10 mln. rubles for the design works.

Universal storage facility for cargoes on roll-trailers is to be constructed instead of outdated storage areas for aluminum.

The project envisages the construction of overhead railway and motor vehicle roads and installation of automatic inventory control system which will ensure quick handling of cargoes and make it possible to monitor each stage of the storage process.

The system of mobile partitions will make it possible to transform the storage premises in relation to the measurements of cargoes and required temperature conditions.

According to the preliminary estimations the construction cost of new warehouse will amount to 250 mln. rubles.
