OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 August 2009 was announced, that the Pulkovo airport celebrated its 77th birthday. STC “Russia” sincerely congratulates colleagues on such a significant date for the whole saint-petersburg’s aviation.

The history of Pulkovo airport and STC “Russia” is single. July 1932 is considered as a Pulkovo foundation date – an organization, which consolidated an air carrier and air-terminal complex. During the following years most efforts were focused on airport infrastructure improvement, passenger service perfection and the extension of route network. Despite the separation of enterprises in 2005, we value the hard work done by past generations of saint-petersburg’s aviators. We pay respect to our common past and consider this high-day as our own. Good partnership relations remaining between the companies today promote dynamic development and transportation improvement of St.-Petersburg and Northwest region of Russia.

We thank the Pulkovo collective for the years of effective collaboration and express our belief, that all future cooperation will bring excellent results! We wish the airport and all its employees prosperity, the conquest of new heights, successful work and realisation of current objectives!
