OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 August 2009 was announced, that indexes of the Ukrainian stock exchanges have demonstrated slight growth on Thursday. "Motor Sich" (MSICH) shares were the leader of growth. The Russian market has demonstrated its week maximum. The USA markets continued to grow after positive news from AIG. Europe markets have shown growth as well. The Asian markets dropped as was predicted. China has informed the intention to carry out reform in the banking sector. This news has negatively affected EUR with respect to USD  and GPY. Grivna depreciated, interbank trading were closed on 8,36/8,41 UAH/USD  and 11,89/11,91 UAH/EUR. Banks liquidity remains low. The prices for interbank resources showed a slight increase. Megabank (MEGA) intends to sell 30 % of shares to the European Reconstruction and Development Bank and KfW (Germany). The Ministry of Finance has selected 5 primary dealers for OVGZ – Oshchadbank, UkrSibbank, Rajffaizenbank Aval, Ukrgazbank and ING Bank Ukraine.
