OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 August 2009 was announced, that the first international exhibition "Turkmengurlushyk-2009" opened at Ashgabat's Exhibition Palace "Sergi Koshgi" on August 20. It is devoted to the achievements and prospects of the construction industry.

About one hundred companies from more than 20 countries, most of whom take leading positions in the world markets, participate in the exhibition. These are "Komatsu" and "Itochu" (Japan), "HOCHTIEF", "Wirtgen" and "Novelis" (Germany), "STRABAG" (Austria), "WYG" (United Kingdom), "Capital Longji" (China), "VINCI"(France), "Polimeks", "Sehil", "Ekol" (Turkey), "Amman Rusland" (Russia) and others. Turkmenistan is represented by numerous companies with different form of ownership.

The list of exhibits displayed in "Sergi kosgi" and the surrounding area includes samples of various construction equipment, handling machinery, assembly and measurement equipment, and other special equipment, modular concrete and brick factories.

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conveyed a welcome message to the participants of the international exhibition and conference. The head of state expressed confidence that the Ashgabat forum "will open favorable opportunities for an effective and constructive dialogue with all companies, enterprises, scientific institutions who are interested in further developing and strengthening the bonds of mutual cooperation", and "serve as an incentive for the further expansion of mutually beneficial exchange of best practices between scientists and real professionals in the sphere of construction."
