OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2009. Planned repair works have been completed in set time at the Krasnoyarsk CHP-2 and heating systems connecting the CHP with the main line. Filling of heating system with hot water has started, reported the press-centre of TGC-13.

Yesterday, on 18 August, by 17:00 all repair and preventing measures requiring stopping of heating units and hot water supply of consumers have been completed. Today at night, the “Krasnoyarsk Heating System” enterprise started filling of heating systems used for supply of consumers living in the Tsentralny, Zheleznodorozhny, Oktyabrsky, and part of Sverdlovsky districts of Krasnoyarsk.

It will take some time to regulate the system of hot water supply. Temperature of water and pressure in the system are being gradually increased. They are expected to reach standard levels by today’s evening. It will allow for gradual connection of consumers which are housing organizations and industrial enterprises, to the systems of hot water supply.

Hot water in houses of citizens will appear at the same time with connection of housing organizations to the heating system taking into account its remoteness from the Krasnoyarsk CHP-2 as well as dependently on readiness in internal housing systems. Hot water supply of majority of houses will be resumed by evening on 21 August.

To remind, planned repair with interruption of hot water supply have been carried out in accordance with the schedule approved by the Department for Municipal Services under the Administration of Krasnoyarsk starting with 00:00 on 10 August. They were planned to be finished by 00:00 on 21 August (24:00 on 20 August) 2009.

During the time of interruption, supervision and repair of valves, feed-water daerators, replacement of covers and revelation of failures at pipelines of delivery water have been carried out.

At the same time, the “Krasnoyarsk Heating Systems” has carried out technical works on replacement of valves, packing of expansion sleeves and repair of depreciated sectors of pipelines used for supply of consumers with water from the CHP-2. All works were determined by the standard.

Repair at production objects of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” is being carried on. Nevertheless, works will not require large-scale hot water outage.
