OREANDA-NEWS. August 24, 2009. Additional generating power to ensure failure-free electric power provision of the region’s consumers has been turned on at electric stations of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13). As of today, heat electric stations of the company carry 1,220 mWt total loading. It includes additional loading of 740 mWt, reported the press-centre of TGC-13.

For compensation of electric power deficit which appeared due to the accident at the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP, extra power of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” has been put into operation.

In accordance with the task of the Krasnoyarsk and Khakas Regional Dispatching Office, launching operations on putting into operation of boilers and turbine units from unload reserve started on 17 August 2009.

By 21:33 (Krasnoyarsk time) on 17 August, equipment of the Krasnoyarsk CHP-1 and CHP-2, the Abakan CHP, the Minusinsk CHP have already been turned on. By 12:15 on 20 August, the last of three reserve boilers at the Nazarovo GRES was turned on.

Currently, heat stations of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13)” carry total loading of 1,220 mWt. It includes additional loading of 740 mWt.

Holding of such loading is not usual for heat electric stations of JSC “Yenisei TGC (TGC-13) during the summer period. At the same time, they are not extreme as during the cold periods of a year under the conditions of low water content the Company’s equipment meets higher loading.

In spite of additional loading, Yenisei TGC is ready to carry out the whole amount of works on preparation for the heating season and autumn and winter maximum loading. Ass capital and medium repairs will be carried out in full and in accordance with the schedule.

The energy company together with JSC “SUEK”, fuel supplier, took urgent steps on provision of electric stations with additional amounts of fuel. Power and fuel balance for a quarter ahead has been formed. Fuel consumption during the current month is forecasted to grow by more than 30% as well as by the beginning of the heating season it will grow by 45% in comparison with the planned levels. JSC “SUEK” is ready to provide for provision of coal in necessary amount.

Forming of fuel reserve for the coming heating season is carried on taking into account of increased consumption of coal and mazut. As of today, about 1,095 thousand ton of coal are kept at whorehouses of branches of Yenisei TGC. This level exceeds the planned task on forming of fuel reserve by 18& which allows for provision of failure-free current operation of equipment.
