OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 August 2009 was announced, that Moskomarchitektura (Moscow Committee for Architecture and Urban Development) has approved an architectural design of the new station of the Moscow metro called Tekhnopark.

Tekhnopark will be added to the Zamoskvoretskaya (green) line between Avtozavodskaya and Kolomenskaya stations. It is to be developed on the above-ground section of the railway line near the pedestrian bridge over the Moskva River. A site intended for the new station is located near Nagatino-ZIL industrial park currently under construction.

According to a draft project aimed at social and economic development in Moscow, roughly 9 kilometres of the metro lines are to be commissioned from 2009 to 2011.
