OREANDA-NEWS. On 24 August 2009 was announced, that at the present moment all facilities of JSC Irkutskenergo are preparing under plan for the start of the autumn and winter heating season. There are no lags in the timetable, and the Company pays a special attention to the improvement of reliability of the stations due to possible maximum loadings during the season. In September a Committee for reception of certificates of preparation of the Company’s branches for passing of the autumn and winter of 2009-2010 will start working. The representatives of the Civil Defence and Emergencies of Russia, Rostekhnadzor International Administration for Technological and Environmental Supervision and Sibirenergotekhnadzor will take part in the work of the Committee. The heating stations of JSC Irkutskenergo have already saved 2,087 tons of coal for the heating season.

In connection with the last events at Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydro Power Station and the expected growth of loading at the thermal power stations, JSC Irkutskenergo plans to increase the deliveries of coal by 1m ton, and Vostsibugol Company ltd is ready to provide this amount. Apart from the on-going programmes for preparation for winter, the Company plans to make additional repairs at the facilities of thermal and hydro energy that cost around RUR 150m. Besides, the top managers of JSC Irkutskenergo initiated additional checks at its branches, in particular in the spheres of safety and reliability.

All facilities of JSC Irkutskenergo are under constant control and work in a routine mode.
