OREANDA-NEWS. On August 21, 2009 The Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has commissioned to index salaries of employees of the budget sphere in accordance with the real fixed inflation showing. A respective commission was given by the Head of Government during the selector meeting with heads of local authorities that was dedicated to the issues of preparation of schools to the new academic year.

“The salaries for all employees of the budget sphere should be indexed according to the real inflation showing month by month,” she stressed. In particular, the Premier gave a commission to the Ministry of Finance to coordinate all necessary decisions with the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada.

The Head of Government also empowered leaders of Donetsk region, which is the only among the regions of Ukraine having arrears of wages to the educationalists, by September 1 to pay off to the employees of budget sphere: “By September 1 all the people working in the budget sphere have to receive all their salaries and holiday pays, indexed according to the real inflation level”.
