Allianz ROSNO Life Announces Financial Results for 1H
OREANDA-NEWS. August 19, 2009. In the first 6 months of 2009, gross premium written by Allianz ROSNO Life, equalled 316 million roubles, showing a 45% growth as compared to the same period of 2008. Insurance compensations equalled 62 million roubles (Under RAS), reported the press-centre of ROSNO.
In the first 6 months of 2009, gross premium written in life insurance equalled 281 million roubles, demonstrating a 41% increase. In the accident insurance, insurance premium written equalled 35 mln roubles, representing a 87% increase.
In the first 6 months of 2009, Allianz ROSNO Life paid clients 53 mln roubles under life insurance contracts and 9 mln roubles under accident insurance contracts.
At the end of the said reporting period, the company’s assets equalled 1.4 bn roubles, indicating a 28% increase versus the end of the same period in 2008. The company’s reserves reached 890 mln roubles. Equity is 424 million roubles. The company’s authorized capital is 111 million roubles.
Mr. Maxim Chernin, CEO of Allianz ROSNO Life, comments on the results of the first half of the year and on the company’s short-term plans: "By thoroughly selecting professionals, continuously improving expertise of financial consultants, successfully growing sales via ROSNO network, acquiring new partners, promoting better customer service quality and featuring a product line with extensive and flexible coverage, Allianz ROSNO Life is able to improve its financial results and grow its market share. In the second half of 2009, along with retaining the positive dynamics of agent sales in the top-priority regions, we plan to focus on implementation of a sales diversification strategy. Our key objective is to achieve, in terms of premium collected, an optimum balance between the company’s agent network, universal ROSNO network, brokers, banks, and non-banking intermediaries. Major attention will be paid to developing the financial solutions meeting the needs not only of various client categories, but also of each individual sales channel. Already in August-September, we will launch a number of new box products".
