OREANDA-NEWS. On August 19, 2009 Machine building corporation Uralmash has started shipping a KKD-1500/180 crusher with a hydraulic upper suspension device to Lebedinskiy GOK. The contract was signed in March 2008. The total mass of the supplied equipment set comes to 452 tons. The crusher was designed at the Mining equipment division of Uralmash-Engineering company and manufactured at Uralmashzavod, the press-centre of Uralmash reported.

The new crusher is to replace an old similar machine with an exhausted operation life limit. This is the second generation of machines of this class installed at Lebedinskiy GOK (Uralmash crushers have been operating at the works since 1972).

On the customer's request, the crusher was fitted with a hydraulic upper suspension device of the crusher head. The crusher's output is at least 4300 tons of rock mass per hour. Unlike the machines of the former generation, it is equipped with automation facilities for discharge opening adjustment.

At present, MK Uralmash manufactures crushers of various standard sizes for Lebedinskiy, Stoylenskiy, Mihailovskiy GOKs, Kuzbassrazrezugol coal company, Magnitogorskiy iron and steel works and other ore mining and processing plants in this country.
