OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 August 2009 Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (APP, Republic of Tatarstan), part of United Metallurgical Company (OMK), reported its operating results for July 2009.

During the reporting period, APP produced 15,098 tonnes of pipes of various grades, which is 13% more than in the equivalent period in 2008 (13,369 tonnes).

APP shipped 16,079 tonnes of its pipes, which is a new record in of the past 10 years. As compared with July 2008 (13,047 tonnes), APP increased its pipe shipments by 23%.
