OREANDA-NEWS. S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation Energia will take part in the IXth International Aerospace Show (MAKS-2009), which is to be held at the town of Zhukovskiy near Moscow from August 18 through August 23, 2009, reported the press-centre of RSC Energia.

The Corporation will present its exhibits as part of the integrated display of the Federal Space Agency enterprises and organizations placed in Pavilion D1.

Stand of RSC Energia after S.P. Korolev is to exhibit manned and unmanned space complexes, launch vehicles, know-how and structural members of rocketry and space technologies.

Modern human flight space technology offers the Soyuz, Progress space vehicles and the International Space station, whose Russian Segment and its major Modules are developed and operated according to the guidelines given by RSC Energia as the prime enterprise in Russia engaged in human space flight programs.

As regards the prospects for manned rocket-space technology development, RSC Energia will introduce visitors to the developments having to do with an advanced manned transportation system with a new-generation space vehicle, interplanetary expedition complex designed to fly to Mars, Moon and other Solar system heavenly bodies.

Unmanned space complexes display new-generation spacecraft developed in the Corporation on the basis of its own multipurpose space Bus, which has passed flight-space certification, complies with international standards and has been used since 1999 for making communication and Earth remote sensing satellites.

On RSC Energia's stand, its launch vehicles section familiarizes visitors with the developments devoted to highly efficient, reliable and ecosafe Upper Stages DM, which are capable of spacecraft delivery to high-energy, near-earth and interplanetary orbits within the framework of the Glonass, Sea Launch, Land Launch programs and other programs. The same section demonstrates the efforts made by the cooperating enterprises throughout the industry to build new Russian cosmodrome Vostochny.

RSC Energia's core activities are exhibited with a broad use of models-copies of modern and advanced rocket-space technology articles, electronic presentations, video commercials, stand posters and advertising booklets.

The Corporation effort at the exhibition foresees that RSC Energia's management and key specialists will meet with the representatives of foreign and Russian enterprises and organizations to discuss some issues of mutual interest regarding ongoing and future projects for rocket-space technology development and use.
