Turkmenistan Develops Infrastructure in Serdar Town
OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2009. With the view to further improve the architectural look and develop urban infrastructure in Serdar town in Balkan Velayat, improve the social and housing conditions of the people and to implement the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan of January 15, 2009 on the Social and Economic Reforms in Serdar town in Balkan Velayat the President of Turkmenistan issued the Resolution authorizing the Balkan Velayat Khyakimlik and Turkmenhaly State Joint Stock Corporation to conclude the contracts with the foreign contracting companies for construction the following facilities and buildings in Serdar, reported the Official website turkmenistan.gov.tm:
- the administrative building of Serdar town khyakimlik;
- the four-storey 32-apartment building;
- the four-storey 16-apartment building;
- three schools – two school for 600 children and one school buildings for 320 children – with equipment with multimedia technologies;
- the kindergarten for 160 children;
- the cultural centre for 150 children;
- the school of arts for 300 children;
- a sewage treatment facility;
- a flyover over the railway bridge and mud manifold;
- a carpet factory for 500 workers
to the total sum of US127.038,241 (with VAT). According to the Resolution the construction work is to start in September 2009 and the facilities are to be put into operation in October 2010.
