OREANDA-NEWS. On August 17, 2009 The Governmental Commissioner for Anti-Corruption Policy Yurii Sukhov has submitted for considering by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine the Procedure of holding anti-corruption expertise.

The mentioned procedure was elaborated together with concerned central executive authorities within the framework of realization of Article 13 of Law of Ukraine “On Prevention of Corruption and Counteraction Principles”.

The procedure, firstly in Ukraine, envisages holding of anti-corruption expertise of normative-legal acts with an aim to reveal in draft laws of Ukraine, other normative-legal acts (further – draft act) principles that facilitate or can facilitate creating of conditions for corruption actions.

The described expertise is directed to founding in draft acts corruption factors – combination of norms and principles that create a risk of corruption offences.

Introduction of the anti-corruption expertise will be one more effective step of the Government on the way of curbing corruption in Ukraine.
