Eximbank–Gruppo Veneto Banca Opened New Branch
OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2009. The official inauguration of the Branch #22 took place, located in the Buiucani district of the Chisinau municipality at the 190/1 Alba Iulia Street. The inauguration was attended by local authorities and businessmen, reported the press-centre of Eximbank – Gruppo Veneto Banca.
The ceremony of inauguration of the Branch was opened by Mr. Sergio Dalpiaz – Representative of the Veneto Banca Holding in Eximbank and Mr. Marcel Chirca – General Director of the Bank. The new Branch will provide a full range of services to corporate clients and individuals, in correspondence with the high standards of European banks, including crediting, deposits acceptance, issuance and maintenance of bank cards VISA and MasterCard, account maintenance and cash management, international wire transfers, including transfers via 9 money transfer systems, currency exchange, etc.
For cardholders’ convenience an ATM with 24-hour access to card account was installed at the Branch’s entrance.
Branch opening is aligned with the Bank’s territorial strategy, confirming once again serious intention of the Italian banking group Veneto Banca to run its business in the Republic of Moldova, both by qualitative and quantitative approach, for achieving leading positions in the local financial-banking system. At present Eximbank –Gruppo Veneto Banca branch network comprises 18 branches and 23 Representative Offices, covering the country capital, Balti municipality and cities: Soroca, Ungheni, Orhei, Hancesti, Causeni, Comrat and Cahul.
