OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2009. The Global Rating Company "Morningstar", which has been evaluating investment objects for the last 25 years, presented the ratings of the investment funds managed in Lithuania. The highest ratings were provided for the investment funds, managed by UAB "SNORAS Asset Management", reported the press-centre of SNORAS.

The ratings were provided for the funds operating more than three years. Three "SNORAS Asset Management" managed rated funds were assessed with 4 - 5 stars. These are the highest evaluations among the investment funds distributed by Lithuanian management companies.

"The highest possible evaluations, received from the independent, globally acting rating agency, surprised us pleasantly. The high ratings approves that "SNORAS Asset Management" funds are managed effectively and transparently. It should be emphasized that our fund management team is perhaps the smallest one in the market, whereas the achieved evaluations are the highest ones," stated Evaldas Jurevicius, the general director of "SNORAS Asset Management".

Presently UAB "SNORAS Asset Management" manages 7 investment funds, 3 of which received the "Morningstar" rating. JT Baltijos akciju fondas I and JT Baltijos akciju fondas II were granted 4 stars, whereas JT Baltijos akciju fondu fondas received the highest five stars evaluation.

Currently the capitalization of the "SNORAS Asset Management" managed assets reaches nearly 17 million litas. The unit value increase of all managed funds from the beginning of the year reaches 7 - 35 per cents. This year increase of the funds directly investing into the shares comprises 22-35 per cent.
