VTB Delegation Visits Tula
OREANDA-NEWS. August 17, 2009. VTB delegation headed by Andrei Kostin, President and Chairman of VTB Management Board visited Tula. During the meeting Vyacheslav Dudka, Governor of the Tula Region and VTB Head discussed the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement signed between the Bank and the Administration of the Tula Region in 2003. They also outlined ways of further bilateral cooperation, reported the press-centre of VTB.
Vyacheslav Dudka said: “Nowadays, the Tula Region is a highly developed industrial area, that’s why support to our enterprises from financial institutions is very important for us. Owing to close cooperation with VTB we can efficiently solve a whole number of priority social, financial and economic tasks”.
According to Andrei Kostin: “VTB Group and the Tula Region have strong relationship. Our aim is to increase financing of the Tula enterprises in order to support this Region in the face of extremely tough economic conditions. VTB Group pays special attention to increasing mortgage lending and invest to housing construction of the Region.”
Presently, VTB has set a RUB 2.6 billion credit limit to the Administration of the Tula Region.

Cooperation between JSC VTB Bank and the Administration of the Tula Region started 11 years ago with opening of VTB Branch in Tula. Nowadays, there are 13 VTB Group outlets (VTB Bank and Bank VTB24). Also, a new outlet, VTB Factoring Ltd., was opened. The Branch customer base comprises 2,300 corporate customers engaged in all spheres of business.
Since the beginning of 2009, VTB Group banks have provided loans exceeding RUB 661 million, with loans to small businesses totaling RUB 146 million. Among those enterprises that received funds there are OJSC Tulatochmash, Tropic Group Ltd., King Lion Tula Ltd., Laura Tula Ltd., Novomoskovsk Power Supply Company Ltd., OJSC Kosaya Gora Iron Works, State Unitary Enterprise Tula Agricultural Centre, Premier AUTO Ltd., OJSC Autoklass Plus and Srednerussky Reserv Ltd. Nowadays, the Branch staff consists of 144 persons.
