OREANDA-NEWS. On August 14, 2009 TMK, one of the world's leading manufacturers of pipes for the oil and gas industry, announced that it began shipments of premium threaded casing pipe to TNK-BP, reported the press-centre of TMK.

The shipments are carried out by TMK Premium Service within the framework of a global cooperation agreement between TMK and TNK-BP.

Before the end of August, TMK Premium Service will ship 1.3 thousand tonnes of 168.3 mm OD Tagmet TMK FMC casing with wall thickness of 8.94 mm and C95 grade. The pipes will be used in TNK-BP wells located in the Orenburg region.
