OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 August 2009 was announced, that Japan Tobacco International (JTI) started supplying Monte Carlo Super Slims, namely, Monte Carlo Super Slims Fantasy and Monte Carlo Super Slims Intrigue, produced at OAO Grodno Tobacco Factory Neman, to the retail network, the company said in a press release.

JTI and Neman contracted Monte Carlo Super Slims production in February 2009.

“JTI supports Belarusian import-substituting efforts and decided to launch a new Monte Carlo variety produced locally in order to meet the growing demand for Super Slims in Belarus,” said Gennady Brusnikov, the head of the JTI office in Belarus.

Monte Carlo Super Slims Fantasy and Monte Carlo Super Slims Intrigue will start shortly.

Super Slims cigarettes account for about 7% of the Belarusian cigarette market. Monte Carlo Super Slims production will depend on the consumer demand.
