OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 August 2009 was announced, that new football field of Astana got certificate of conformity to all international standards, informed the press-service of the department of tourism, physical culture and sport of Astana.

The certificate that confirms this fact was received by the management of the stadium.  Football field was certified by FIFA quality standard. Number of the license is №AF-01.27 signed by the president of FIFA Joseph Blutter.

This sport building holds 30 000 people. The stadium was commissioned on 3rd July 2009. President of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbaev participated in the opening ceremony.

Football field with grass cover conforms to FIFA and UEFA standards.  Under the north-south stands there are covered sport rooms fro such kinds of sport as boxing, wrestling, karate, artistic gymnastics and judo. The new building is equipped with television networks with satellite, aerial broadcasting, and sound reinforcement with simultaneous translation in meeting halls and conference-halls, display board. The stands are located in 2 levels: 16 thousand people at the lower stand, 14 thousand – at the upper, and VIP zones in the west part of the stadium.
