OREANDA-NEWS. August 12, 2009. Recently a number of publications appeared in the media about the negotiations conducted between the shareholders of AB Bank SNORAS and UAB "Diena Media Group" concerning the acquisition of UAB "Diena Media Group" shares. We inform that presently the negotiations on acquisition of the company shares or its published daily newspapers ("Vilniaus diena", "Kauno diena" and "Klaipeda") are not conducted; this question is only speculated on, reported the press-centre of Bank SNORAS.

AB Bank SNORAS granted a loan to "Diena Media Print" printing office owned by the shareholders of UAB "Diena Media Group".

Due to the ineffective management UAB "Diena Media Print" became insolvent and after the shareholders made a decision to transfer the printing of the daily newspapers published by UAB "Diena Media Group" to another printing office, upon the initiative of the administration a bankruptcy procedure against UAB "Diena Media Print" was commenced.

Currently AB Bank SNORAS by the law provided methods seeks to protect its legal interests, to defend the monetary funds of the clients, depositors and investors of the bank by ensuring the execution of the credit loan concluded with UAB "Diena Media Print".
