OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 August 2009 was announced, that of approach of this unique event for our region now murmaners reminds the huge banner placed on a building of hotel "Arctic regions".

The forum will pass in Murmansk from October, 15 till October, 17th. This action is included in the plan of the Government of the Russian Federation and will take place at support of governmental body of the Russian Federation, Minekonomrazvitija, Minregionrazvitija and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Will patronise a forum Commercial and industrial chamber of the Russian Federation.

Strategy of economic development of the Russian North and Arctic regions, development Shtokmanovsky gas condensate field, development of a transport transit corridor the North — the South, development of power and questions of wildlife management in the north of Russia, development of modern fishery and fish processing, development of state-private partnership and the international cooperation become key themes of the first MEF.

To participation in a forum heads of federal authorities, representatives of diplomatic and trading missions, expert circles, heads of the largest Russian and international companies are invited.

Now already were registered about 200 participants. And all it is planned, that in the autumn in polar capital will gather to 800 representatives of leading Russian and foreign industrial corporations and firms. It is expected, that the forum will have the highest status — preliminary acknowledgement of participation in it of prime minister Vladimir Putin is already received
