OREANDA-NEWS. On August 11, 2009 The company’s director general Teodor Ungureanu said at the press conference the amount of insurance premiums in the first half of the year totaled 25 million leis, the amount of payments – 10 million leis.

He emphasized that Donaris Group took the firm third position among Moldovan insurers as to the activity indicators. According to Teodor Ungureanu, the company currently takes a leading position on CASCO insurance of vehicles and will develop all kinds of insurance except life insurance. He said agriculture insurance development in Moldova was very promising and came out in favor of introduction of the obligatory insurance of dwelling in the country that in his opinion will be a strong impulse for the market development.

Speaking of the company’s entry into the Green Card Bureau in Moldova ( the National Bureau of Motor Transport Insurers (BNAA), Teodor Ungureanu expressed his confidence that any insurance company meeting respective requirements has to have an opportunity to join the bureau and Donaris Group meets this Bureau absolutely. He ruled out the possibility of the company’s non-acceptance to the Bureau and said he was sure Donaris Group would join the BNAA this year.
