OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2009. Carried out repair – restoration work makes opportunity to improve the technical-economical factors in “Shirvan” TPS according to autumn-winter season. According to the information given by TPS to the Press-service of “Azerenergy” JSC, maintenance repair work was carried out in the I and II power blocks, preparation work was carried out in the VI power block in order to spend normal autumn-winter season of 2009 – 2010. It was noted in the information   that, the work will be also finished in this block, reported the press-centre of Azerenergy.

Lets` note that, the repair work has been carried out in other electric equipments while the repair work was performed in the   I and II power blocks.

The repair of black oil tanks, air insulating circuit breakers and TL have been included to the measures plan.

According to the information given by the  enterprise, the power cables by 0,4 kV and supervision cables of    protection circuits were substituted there according to the  preparation of winter season.   

In addition, air insulating circuit breaker number 1 by 330 kV, air insulating circuit breaker by 220, at the same time the II “Sabirabad” and “Mugan” TL by 110 kV were capital repaired.
Beside it,    examination was carried out in the departments and sections, in the building and in the equipments, in fire safety of the electric equipments and discovered defects have been eliminated. 92 dusty and carbon oxide fire extinguisher equipments were brought in order to supply safety measures in the power objects.

Lets` note at the end, the repair- restoration work  is continued in the plant according to the plan. The collective is assiduously try  to carry out the necessary measures for regular and without break work of power blocks.

Lets` remind that, at present,   the construction   work of “Janub” electric power by 780 MW is continued according to the schedule. The modern technologies will be applied in this station which makes opportunity using not only gas but also black oil fuel.
