OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 August 2009 was announced, that the supplies of “Vostsibugol” company (VSUC) to Gusinoozerskaya State Power District Plant (the branch of JSC "WGC-3" in the republic of Buryatia) accounts for 400-700 thousand of coal per year, and in case the State District Power Plant gives the positive answer. At present time this issue is being discussed with JSC "WGC-3". They say it to VSUC in the press release. In June, 40 thousand tones of Golovinsk coal were shipped. In July the power engineers carried out the experimental combustion, which results will be obtained at the beginning of August. The next experimental combustion will be carried out in September. VSUC suggested using for combustion during the second turn the mixture of coal from Golovinskoye and Irbeyskoye sites at Gusinoozerskaya State Power District Plant.

Besides, the Company carries out the negotiations with aluminous division of Joint Company RUSAL concerning the supplies of Irbeyskiy coal to Achinsk Thermal Power Plant and the negotiations concerning the export supplies of coal to China. In the first half of the year VSUC won the coal tender to supply coal to Kamchatka with the amount of 30 thousand tones per year, as it was noted in the press-release. The total amount of coal extraction of JSC “Vostsibugol” in this year according to the forecasts will account for 5 million tones which correspond to the level of the past year. JSC “Vostsibugol” company is the major producer and supplier of power coal to the Irkutsk Region. At the beginning of July they announced about the creation of the power coal holding together with “Irkutskenergo”.
