Energoatom Concern Improves Its System of Regulations
OREANDA-NEWS. August 10, 2009. The Concern is going to revise its standards on the maintenance of the thermal and electric equipment and chemical systems as well as labor standards, reported the press-centre of Minatom.
The Concern has already done big work to improve its corporate elementary estimate standards so as to be able to work with contractor organizations.
Presently, the Concern is developing elementary estimate standards for new equipment and centralizing the standards applied by its nuclear power plants.
Deputy Head of the Personnel Management Department of Energoatom Concern Sergey Aksinenko says that the contractual price of maintenance work should be based on good standards and regulations concerning labor and materials. “This will help us to reduce our maintenance costs and to improve our interaction with sub-contractor organizations,” says Aksinenko.
The final goal is to create a regulatory basis for effective cooperation with contractor organizations and to improve the corporate system of regulations.
