On 10 August 2009 was announced, that In Open Society "Kovdorsky GOK", a part Open Society "Mineralno-chemical company", comes to the end realisation of the largest investment project on modernisation of a complex of joint processing of ore and baddeleit-apatitovyh sand of a technogenic deposit. The project is directed on the decision of one of priority problems of the strategic program of development" Kovdorsky GOKa "– increases of volumes of release apatite and baddeleyite concentrates.

Reconstruction of operating gravitational repartition, with placing of the modern highly effective equipment on operating floor spaces apatite - baddeleyite concentrating factory became the next stage of the project. Within the limits of realisation of the given project the technology of separate enrichment roughly - and fine-grained baddeleyite products and their processing that will allow to increase manufacture volumes considerably is developed essentially new for Open Society "Kovdorsky GOK".

Now on a site of preparation of a food of flotation and manufacture baddeleyite concentrate "Kovdorsky GOK" two installations automated the pump-hydrocyclonic for fine-grained material fineness less-0,1 mm are mounted. The total cost of installations makes more than 16 million roubles. Each installation includes two working pumps "Varman" with an adjustable drive and two working batteries consisting of 11 hydrocyclones "Setko". The new automated line is distinguished by high efficiency and profitability. Its application will allow to divide effectively a material on fineness: sand krupnostju-0,1+0,03 mm and plums fineness less than 0,03 mm.

At a following stage experts will start installation of four gravitational tables "Holman", screw separators. Gravitation reconstruction it is planned to finish in 2009.

Plan performance on manufacture baddeleyite concentrate in the first half of the year 2009 has made 3 tys 658 tons (102,7 %).
