OREANDA-NEWS. August 07, 2009. In collaboration with Radio Latvia and “Jauniesu konsultacijas” community, Rietumu Bank’s Charity Fund is hosting a charity action “Let the music be heard!” The aim of this action is to help children with hearing impairments and to emphasise the seriousness of this problem in our society, reported the press-centre of Rietumu Bank.

The Fund will purchase modern earphones for children, who suffer from hearing impairments and whose low-income families cannot afford hearing devices themselves. These devices will allow the children to live and develop at their full potential. Not only the Charity Fund, but also independent benefactors, who will make charitable donations, will finance the purchase of the earphones. Any of us can participate in the action by becoming such a benefactor and to help the children.
