OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 August 2009 was announced, that it is expected that in solemn action the representatives will take part of federal agencies, Rerikhovskikh centres, the cultural workers and the best creative groups of the Altai Territory.

The territory of special economic zone "Biriuzovaya Katun" was chosen not without reason on constructions and it monument- in these areas of was held territory the Central Asian expedition under the direction of Nikolay Roerich. The sculptured composition with the name <Rerikhu - from people Altai> will be established on shore Katun Rivers not far from museum-park <The worlds crossing>.

Now already is ready two basement, at which will be delivered the bust N. K. Roerich and the memorable rock with quotation from its book "Altaj-Gimalai”. The sculptured composition, executed by Vladimir Vojchishin, will be established already by the middle of August. Here and now are conducted preparatory work to monument presentation, its the official opening is planned for 12-13 September. Remember, the arrangement is timed to 135-letiyu from the birthday Nikolay Roerich, which is being held within frameworks of international in a cultured manner - educational project "of parades of creative heritage of Russia and India", dedicated to year celebrating of India in Russia in 2009.
