OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 August 2009 was announced, that over the first six months of 2009 OJSC Ilim Group's locations within Ilim East Business Unit (the Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk Branches) have manufactured 690 thousand tons of pulp and paper products. This is 2% less than in 1H of 2008.

Market pulp production went down by 1%, equaling 581,000 tons. Containerboard production volume amounted to 109 thousand tons, which is a 6% drop from the similar period performance in the previous year.

A total of 751 thousand tons of pulp were cooked, going down by 1% as compared with 1H 2008.
