OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 August 2009 was announced, that Ingosstrakh IJSC paid insurance compensation for damage by water of an apartment in St. Petersburg in Millionnaya st.29 that holds the status of cultural heritage.

Hot water leaked from the water supply system on February 17, 2009, because of the breakage in the flexible tubing that feeds water to the kitchen tap.  In this insured accident, damage was done to the kitchen, corridor, dining room and bedroom.  Independent experts were hired to assess the damage. The compensation paid to the insured person totaled RUB 2 138 030.55.
