OREANDA-NEWS. On August 05, 2009 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved an ordinance “On certain issues of financing in 2009 of reconstruction of National Sport Complex Olimpiyskyi”. This document envisages prepayment of dismantling, building and assembly works on Olimpiyskyi NSC to the tune of UAH 43.2 million for purchase of building materials.

According to the Minister of Family, Youth and Sport Yurii Pavlenko this Government’s decision will enable to conduct works on the Olimpiyskyi just with the schedules approved by the UEFA.

“There are no fails with financing of this object too. In 2009 pursuant to the National Target Program of Preparation and Holding in Ukraine of the Final Part of European Football Championship of 2012 one billion hryvnyas is planned to earmark for reconstruction of Olimpiyskyi NSC. The funds are allocated in the planned manner for building and assembly works, design, equipment and materials necessary for the nearest several months,” Yurii Pavlenko informed.
