OREANDA-NEWS. August 06, 2009. The State Tax Administration of Ukraine will initiate Single register of unconscientious tax payers. First Deputy Head of State Tax Administration Olexandr Bukhanevych informed during a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

According to him, this register, which is to be placed on the official STA website, will contain data about all unconscientious tax payers who violate the legislation. “It will give positive results towards increasing of incomes to the State Budget and fight against unconscientious, shady tax payers and, as a result, it will give chance to improve administration of all kinds of taxes,” the first STA deputy head emphasized.

Besides, according to Olexandr Bukhanevych, the STA submitted to the Government propositions concerning creating of such Single register of unconscientious tax payers which is the second stage of introduction of on-line tax accounts launched on the territory of Ukraine from April 1, 2008. As he put it, the Register will enable in real time to track illegal operations and react on them in an on-line regime and in the result it will enable administration of value added tax.
