OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 August 2009 was announced, that PAVA, the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East, continues the production capacities upgrade. In order to increase efficiency of shipments at Rebrikha mill (the Altay Territory), the company has installed an additional packing machine. It will be used for manufacturing semolina in 0.85 kg package.

New equipment has become necessary due to the growing inflow of orders for consumer-size semolina. “Up to the current time, we packed flour and semolina using the same machines. Both products, especially semolina, are in high demand on the market, which is characterized by their shortage, and consequently – delay in packing up rail cars with this type of consumer-size product. Putting into operation an extra packing machine will enable us to ship customer orders in shorter time”, says PAVA Director General Andrey Ananin.

Semolina produced by the Altay company PAVA is widely known among the consumers of Central, European, Ural and Eastern parts of Russia. Therefore, orders for this product are accepted beforehand. Now, the product shipments will be carried out in the enhanced prompt regime.
