OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2009. Nariman Tyuleyev, the mayor of Bishkek, handed to representatives of AsiaUniversalBank a letter of commendation in recognition of the Bank’s substantial contribution to the reconstruction of “Ala-Too” Square, in the centre of Bishkek, reported the press-centre of AsiaUniversalBank.

Due to the active support of companies such as AsiaUniversalBank, the Bishkek authorities were able to totally rebuild and improve the central square and its surroundings. As well as this work, City Hall installed new park benches, laid flower beds, a new flag pole was erected and, a first for the city, a spectacular synchronized light and music fountain was constructed.

“Our Bank has always been keen to support the development of the capital. That’s why we were very happy to help the city rebuild “Ala-Too” square. We are always interested in ways we can contribute to the city centre’s improvement. Now residents and visitors to Bishkek can relax and enjoy the sights as they walk around the square”, said Nurdin Abdrazakov, CEO of OJSC “AsiaUniversalBank”.
