Prime Minister of Ukraine Visited Rodovid Bank
OREANDA-NEWS. On August 05, 2009 The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko has paid an unplanned visit to the central department of Rodovid Bank and checked the fact of paying deposits to the depositors which started July 3.
“I have come on purpose so that to convince first-hand that the bank we have turned into national gives hope to people,” the Head of Government explained. Notably, Yulia Tymoshenko had a chance to see that there are no queues to take the deposits and clients are served in a due manner. Moreover, the Prime Minister talked to some depositors of this financial institution and everyone assured the Head of Government that they don’t intend to take their money but redeposit it as they trust the bank.
Yulia Tymoshenko highlighted the Gov’t hadn’t had to nationalize private banks among which are Rodovid Bank but made such a step for the sake of people. She reminded Bank “Kyiv” and Ukrgasbank had also become state banks.
“And I wish to assure all clients of Ukrgasbank, Bank “Kyiv”, Rodovid Bank that all the deposits will be returned, all the credits will be reorganized so that they would be comfortable for small and average business. We will spare no effort to make people feel there is the Government within the country,” Yulia Tymoshenko urged.
