OREANDA-NEWS. August 04, 2009. Ungrounded mediation on the Belarusian market needs to be eliminated, Economy Minister Nikolai Zaichenko told media.

“The President of Belarus has pointed out many times that the issue related to the mediation that destroys the financial system of companies should be settled,” Nikolai Zaichenko said.

This problem has reached its top amid today’s financial and economic downturn. Ungrounded mediation leads to high prices. “Today you can see market prices for the same goods varying up to 2.5 times,” the minister said. “The unnecessary competition developing on the domestic market” is another negative moment. And, finally, such a system fuels corruption.

The government has been working out a set of additional measures to implement the President’s instruction to the full extent possible, Nikolai Zaichenko noted.
