According to the National Bank’s data, in particular, the liquidator of the “Investprivatbank” that is in the liquidation process, received and fulfilled 9138 applications on the transfer of money in the total amount of 595.2 million leis including the equivalent of 279.9 million leis in foreign currency to the “Banca de Economii” from July 1 through July 31, 2009.

The transferred money made up 94.8 per cent of the total amount of individuals’ deposits. Given the fact that 1-3 days are needed to effect transfers, the different between the amount of funds transferred by the liquidator and registered in the “Banca de Economii” has been registered. 593.5 million leis including the equivalent of 278.4 million leis in foreign currency were registered for payment over the reporting period.

The funds registered for payment made up 94.5 per cent of the total amount of individuals’ deposits in the Investprivatbank.
