Industrial Production Volume Reduced by 24,9% in Moldova
OREANDA-NEWS. August 04, 2009. According to the CIS Statistics Committee’s data, the industrial production volume in Moldova in the reporting period totaled 10.6 billion leis.
The volume of industrial production on average among the CIS states reduced by 15 per cent in January-June 2009. The industrial production reduced most of all in Ukraine – by 31.1 per cent and Moldova – 24.9 per cent.
In Kyrgyzstan, it reduced by 18.9 per cent, Russia – by 14.8 per cent, Tajikistan – by 13.3 per cent, Armenia – 11.5 per cent, Belarus – 3.6 per cent, Kazakhstan – 2.7 per cent. The volume of industrial production grew in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan by 1 per cent and 9.1 per cent, respectively.
Industrial production on average in the CIS states in June 2009 went down by 12 per cent in comparison with the same period last year (in grew by 2 per cent in the respective period of the last year).
