OREANDA-NEWS. August 04, 2009. According to the National Statistics Bureau, fulfillment of works at the building of new objects dominates in the structure of works fulfilled by the contract organizations – 889.2 million leis with their share making up 69 per cent in the total volume of works.

About 30 per cent of the volume of executed works fell to the share of capital and current repairs. The works fulfilled at the residential and non-residential buildings reduced, respectively, by 42 per cent and 36.2 per cent, those at the engineer constructions – by 32.2 per cent.

The major volume of works was fulfilled by economic subjects of the private ownership form totaling 1 billion 127.3 million leis (87.4 per cent of the total volume of fulfilled works) or 70.6 per cent in comparison with the same period last year.

About 73 per cent of the total amount of building and assembly works were fulfilled by contract organizations of the Chisinau municipality.
