OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 August 2009 was announced, that ISTOK-SOYUZ internal call for proposals was opened for applicants at April 16, 2009. The aim of the call was to select R&D teams with strongest ICT collaboration potential from the five targeted countries of EECA (Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia and Kazakhstan), and to provide them with personalized support in order to increase number of ICT partnerships under 7th Framework Program.

The total number of proposals submitted to the Call: 45, among them 28 from Russia, 7 from Ukraine, 6 from Byelorussia and 4 from Kazakhstan.

The Call Committee considered the examination results of the project experts and declared 16 teams as winners.

To recommend the ISTOK-SOYUZ project experts 8 teams were declared as reserve recipients of hands-on support in informing, consulting and partner search for taking part in EU FP7 thematic calls.

The ISTOK-SOYUZ project experts will contact with winners for starting discussion of the contents and the action plans of the expected hands-on support during August.
