CSB Offers BLIZKO Service to Customers
OREANDA-NEWS. On August 03, 2009 Belarusbank Commercial Savings Bank (CSB) has launched a new service for its customers using the BLIZKO money transfer system developed and owned by Sviaz-Bank. Money transfers are made in Russian rubles. This service will shortly be available at many offices of Belarusbank CSB and expand considerably the BLIZKO agent network in the Republic of Belarus, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.
Wiring Belarusbank CSB to the BLIZKO system is a significant step in the implementation of the network development strategy adopted by Sviaz-Bank to develop a combined BLIZKO post office and bank office infrastructure on the territory of CIS countries.
Today, the BLIZKO system covers the territories of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova (including Transnistria), Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Latvia.
Belarusbank CSB is the biggest multipurpose financial and lending institution set up on the basis of the Belarussian Republican Bank of the U.S.S.R. Sberegatel’ny (Savings) Bank. Structurally, the bank has six territorial departments, 92 branches, 1,831 offices, and 46 banking services centers.
