Transsiberian Re Concluded Treaty with New Zealand Company
OREANDA-NEWS. August 03, 2009. OJSC Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation has concluded excess of loss marine hull / liability / cargo reinsurance treaty with New Zealand insurance company – Western Pacific Insurance Ltd. The treaty was concluded through the reinsurance broker from Switzerland – SCR, reported the press-centre of Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation.
Western Pacific Insurance Ltd. has been working on the New Zealand market since 2005 and proved itself as being reputable innovative company. The Reinsured is the member of the Holding of the same name and develops actively its insurance activities in New Zealand as well as in Oceania and South-East Asia. In the beginning of 2009 the Company was assigned with Standard & Poor’s International Financial stability rating at the level of B (stable).
Western Pacific Insurance Ltd. became the first partner of Transsiberian Re from New Zealand. Moreover, it’s the first time, the Corporation deals with the company from such exotic region as Australia and Oceania.
As usual, the Corporation enters the new markets solely through the reinsurance brokers, which are well-known among specialists and proved themselves as being high-skilled professionals. As at 1 July 2009 OJSC Transsiberian Re cooperates with companies from 46 countries of the world.
