OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 August 2009 was announced, that the branch of Ingosstrakh IJSC in Nizhny Novgorod insured property and losses caused by interruptions in production operations of OAO Arzamas Machine Works. The insured amount exceeded RUB 1.1bln.

The insurance contract covers such risks as fire, stroke of lightning, natural disasters, damage by water, explosion, theft and robbery illegal acts of third parties, fall of manned aircraft on insured property or its wreckage,  collision with vehicles. Within the framework of insurance of losses caused by interruption in operation the contract covers the risks as follows: lost profit and lost rental income as a result of full or partial interruption of production.

Three other federal insurance companies took part in the tender. The criteria for choosing Ingosstrakh as the winner were business reputation, reliability, experience in insurance, high professionalism of the employees of the branch, as well as financial performance of the company.
