OREANDA-NEWS. On 03 August 2009 was announced, that over the week from July 20 till July 27, 2009, Ingosstrakh paid to its retail clients in Moscow and Moscow region over RUB 228mln.

Among large payments, one must mention compensation paid under motor hull insurance to the amount of over RUB 2.8mln for inflammation of Volvo FM. The truck was set on fire by unknown hooligans in Voronezh. Ingosstrakh paid over RUB 2mln to the owner of Mercedes-Benz ML 350, damaged in a traffic accident on the Kiev motorway (Moscow region).

The insurer also compensated over RUB 2.7mln for repairs of the Volvo FM truck damaged in an accident in Leningrad region. 

Besides, Ingosstrakh paid over RUB 1.1mln under comprehensive mortgage insurance. The money was transferred to the lending bank to repay the debt under the mortgage contract because of the death of the insured person.
